An enormous thank you to the Social Security Administration staff in downtown St. Paul for their incredibly kind, patient, and respectful assistance with my application for retirement benefits.
Starting with the friendly welcome I received from a man who asked what I needed to make sure I was at the right office, gave me directions, and had a significant calming effect. The second man who offered to assist me explained what they could. Kai, the third gentleman, handled all of my problems with extraordinary kindness and politeness.
My heart was grateful and relieved. I have the utmost respect for these government workers.

I want to praise the United Hospitals staff in St. Paul.
On Friday, July 1, as my husband and I went to the hospital for surgery, we were both made to feel welcome and cared for. Thanks to Jim, who oversees the blue parking garage, as well as the nurses in my husband’s room, Ally, Noni, Laura, Gigi, and Lynda, who treated him like he was the only patient. The surgery receptionist, Cathy, assured me she would keep me updated on where my husband was in the process.
For the patient and caregiver, this surgical procedure was stress-free thanks to you all. I’m grateful.

I enjoyed meeting up with two friends earlier this year for breakfast at South St. Paul’s Sunlight Café. We shared stories and laughs for two hours before our waitress informed us that our bill had been paid.
“From a son to you Mothers,” he wrote in a lovely handwritten note. God bless. Have a fantastic day! … and we did, in fact!
I greatly appreciate it.
