The Wimbledon women’s final’s first set has been won 6-3 by Ons Jabeur.
On Centre Court, Jabeur will compete against Elena Rybakina for the championship.
2:25 p.m.
Liv Hovde, a young American tennis player, won the girls’ singles title at Wimbledon.
Hovde became just the second American girl to win the title at the All England Club in the previous 30 years after defeating Luca Udvardy of Hungary 6-3, 6-4 on No. 1 Court.
The title was won in 2017 by Claire Liu.
Kayla Cross and Victoria Mboko of Canada lost to Angella Okutoyi of Kenya and Rose Marie Nijkamp of the Netherlands in the girls’ doubles final 3-6, 6-4. (11-9).
Sebastian Gorzny and Alex Michelsen of the United States defeated Gabriel Debru and Paul Inchauspe of France in the boys’ doubles final 7-6 (5), 6-3.

Jabeur hopes to become the first African and Arab woman to win a major tennis championship. Rybakina, who was originally from Russia but changed her citizenship to Kazakhstan in 2018, would go on to win the first Grand Slam tournament in her adopted nation.

Women’s wheelchair singles champion Diede de Groot claimed her fourth Wimbledon victory and seventh consecutive Grand Slam victory.
On No. 3 Court, the top-seeded Dutch player defeated Yui Kamiji of Japan 6-4, 6-2.
De Groot made her debut at the Australian Open in 2021. She won the first three major titles of this year after winning all four last year.
In 2017 and 2018, De Groot also took home the singles title at the All England Club. In 2018 and 2019, she won doubles championships.
This year, the Dutchwoman and Aniek van Koot will compete against Kamiji and Dana Mathewson of the United States in the doubles final.
