The founder of the youth-led climate activist group Zero Hour, radical leftist 20-year-old Jamie Margolin, was interviewed by MSNBC host Zerlina Maxwell on Saturday morning. The panic button was immediately pressed by the agitator, who claimed that recent Supreme Court rulings on abortion and climate change were “judicial coups” and a “clear descent into fascism.”
Maxwell began by stating that it is “a really big deal” that Team Biden’s “ambitious climate agenda” was given a setback by the Supreme Court. She introduced Margolin and emphasized her tweet, which was written in the style of Greta Thunberg, saying, “You tweeted the Supreme Court is a deadly threat to our earth and all life on it.”
MARGOLIN: I concur that at this point, this is a judicial coup, as have Congresswoman AOC and numerous others. With decisions against Roe v. Wade, decisions that go against basic common sense safety and majority decisions, the judicial branch is blatantly abusing its authority and completely reversing what the majority of people want, what is good for the people, and what is the people’s will. And they keep overturning, stripping away fundamental rights, and it’s gotten to the point where I’m saying, “This is — if we don’t take serious action, and I don’t say that lightly, this is a clear descent into fascism.”
I do a lot of research on fascism. I grew up learning a lot about Nazi Germany and other fascist regimes and things like that because the people in my family have lived through, seen, and studied history so well. My grandpa was a World War II veteran, and my father’s side of the family is Jewish. The crucial thing to keep in mind is that it might occur here. Everyone exclaims, “Oh, but never us.” Never ever use the USA. And we are already witnessing this fundamentalist coup, in essence, stripping us of our fundamental rights to bodily autonomy, health care, and self-control.
People are being killed by this pro-life Supreme Court. These choices will cause deaths of people. Not just due to the Roe v. Wade decision being overturned, but also due to the decision against gun control, the decision against the clean air act, and other related decisions. That will result in fatalities! Because of diseases brought on by toxins, pollutants, and other types of toxins, millions of people perish every year. There is blood on the hands of these pro-lifers.
Maxwell regarded this response as completely reasonable and expressed dissatisfaction that the Biden administration and the Left are being blamed for this defeat when, in his opinion, it should not be considered “political” but rather “science.” In her second response, Margolin continued to criticize “fascist fundamentalist fearmongering,” despite the fact that she herself was spreading it.
