Before the end of Q3 2024, Polium One, a startup focused on building the infrastructure for Web3 gaming, intends to release its first multiple blockchain and non-fungible token (NFT) gaming console.
Polium One announced plans to launch its first multi-chain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) gaming console in Q3 2024 in a blog post from July 5. A number of well-known chains, including Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), BNB Chain (BNB), Immutable X, Harmony, EOS, and Wax, will be supported by the first-ever gaming console.
The much-anticipated NFT gaming console, according to Polium, will support 4K Ultra HD resolution at 120 frames per second. A working prototype of the console would be available in a few months thanks to the assistance of Polium’s community.
A multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet with a control button will be available on the eagerly awaited console, streamlining trade. Polium will install a fingerprint scanner on the controller to enable enhanced security and verification of transactions from the console because hackers have become widespread in the DeFi space.
Polium has made hints that “Polium Pass” NFTs will be minted on the console’s initial launch day, even though the cost of the device is unknown. Holders of Polium Pass NFTs will have the opportunity to acquire an additional NFT, which they can use to stake for the “PLAY” token. On its marketplace app, users will transact using PLAY NFTs.
10,000 consoles will be made available to Polium Pass holders and other partners in Q3 2024, and more will follow before the public launch in Q3 2025, according to Polium. The company Polium wants to sell more than 1 million of its products.
Meanwhile, the most recent announcement has sparked a lot of debate and criticism over its logo on social media platforms. Many online users assert that the Nintendo GameCube’s logo is similar to that of this well-known console. However, Polium has denied these allegations, claiming that it did not copy the logo and that it instead created a brand-new, unique logo.
