Prince George, the oldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, made his first appearance at Wimbledon 2022 on Sunday during the men’s singles final match.
On day 14 of the championship at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, the 8-year-old royal was seen sitting between his parents in the Royal Box as they watched Serbia’s Novak Djokovic take on Australia’s Nick Kyrgios, according to People.
Third in line to the British throne Prince George dressed for the occasion in a navy blue suit and striped tie. He was captured on camera watching the game with animated facial expressions as his parents watched with pride.
Prince William wore a gray suit, a light blue shirt, and a navy blue tie, while Duchess Kate wore a navy blue and white polka dot dress.
The parents of 4-year-old Prince Louis and 7-year-old Princess Charlotte, Prince William and Middleton frequently attend the annual competition. The duchess, a devoted tennis fan who has served as the club’s royal patron since 2016, was also present for the women’s singles final the day before.
